Trip Insurance is Recommended for all Copper Canyon Packages

We highly recommend you purchase your own trip insurance from your insurance provider. You will be traveling in the mountains of the Copper Canyon where temperatures and weather can change instantly without prior notice or warning.
Although we will do our best to help you if you should encounter any problems in your travels, it must be said that we will not be able to give refunds due to, but not limited to; inclement weather, natural disasters, road closings ordered by the government, road closing due to weather, train derailments or problems (Chepe WILL refund any tickets purchased in advance should the trian not run on your day of travel due to mechanical failure), public transportation scheduling or lack thereof, lost baggage, airline policies or problems, political problems, or anything else that is out of our control.
We will go out of our way to inform you of all alternate transportation elections or alternate scheduling scenarios if need be of course to keep you on schedule, but all clients must understand that further costs incurred will need to be covered by the client.
We know you will understand this policy and will take the necessary steps to insure yourselves against any eventualities that may cause you concern. 95% of all vacation travel goes completely as planned and we will do our best to ensure that yours does too. That “little bit” of extra protection that Travel Insurance can offer you may help one to sleep better at night though.
We do not endorse or have recommendations for any particular Trip Insurance Provider at this time but we do suggest you visit several online sites and compare them as they can be very different in both coverage and cost.
